About The Course
Impactful teaching is a craft that goes far beyond asana. We know this. That Yoga is so much more than the physical, but when do we give ourselves the opportunity to really feel into that? And when do we get the opportunity to really share that? Especially with the time constraints of a fast-paced flow class! How can we weave the other facets of Yoga more seamlessly into our teachings while staying true to own own unique teaching style?
Throughout this course, we will seek to ignite your individual natural rhythm, starting with the strong foundation of a personal sadhana practice. From there, we will explore how to intelligently theme and sequence by building confidence to share Yogic philosophy to bring a more sacred purpose and energy into your teaching. We will also spend time on how to nourishingly assist your students with hands-on adjustments.

About the teachers
Laura Farrier (Lead Teacher)
Laura began practicing yoga at university to support her dance training and soon discovered its deeper sense of balance and peace. Her journey has taken her across Thailand, Honduras, Canada, and India, where she trained at the Sivananda Ashram in Kerala and later in Ashtanga Yoga and Pranayama in Mysore.
After moving to Dubai in 2011, Laura spent ten years teaching at Zen Yoga before joining The Matcha Club as a senior teacher. She has been featured in Yoga Life and Grazia Middle East, represented brands like Lululemon and Nux, and taught at Yogafest and numerous corporate events.
Having led global retreats and completed FRC and Kinstretch mobility training, Laura brings over 18 years of experience to her classes—blending precision, philosophy, and a deep respect for yoga’s tradition.
“Laura’s Teachings are powerful for any yoga teacher looking to refine their skills or reconnect with their teaching roots. In many ways, it’s about stripping things back to the basics — remembering the subtle tools and teachings we often forget, and realizing how impactful they can be in a class setting.
Laura is such an inspiring teacher — her energy, her assists, her insights… they all land with so much clarity and care. I learned a lot and left feeling both grounded and reignited in my practice and teaching.”
Guest Teacher - Elouise (Lakshya)
Elouise (Lakshya) is a yoga teacher, Sanskrit educator, and Vedic chanting teacher with over 15 years of experience. She spent 12 years in India, immersed in traditional study, including 3 years at the Arsha Vidya Gurukulam under Swami Dayananda Saraswati. There, she trained in Sanskrit, Vedanta, and the oral tradition of mantra chanting—learning the authentic way, rooted in precision and devotion.
Elouise teaches Sanskrit and mantra to yogis, with a focus on correct pronunciation, rhythm, and meaning. She specialises in making these ancient wisdom traditions accessible and relevant to teachers and students today, bridging the gap between sacred tradition and modern-day life.
