This is Stewji’s second visit to Dubai and I feel thrilled to host him again despite now living in Spain.

Stewart Gilchrist is a senior registered yoga teacher known throughout London for his popular, innovative, authentic dynamic classes. He infuses his high energy and challenging teachings with yogic knowledge, as well as his unique charisma, politics and humour. His classes include an emphasis on breath, vinyasa and philosophy with physical adjustments. Stewart applies the original teachings of yoga to the modern world to create thought-provoking classes.

Workshop Details : A Journey Through the Chakras

Saturday February 24th :

Muladhara 10-12pm

Establishing our roots and ground in the foundational standing asanas creates inner stability. Expect a dynamic Vinyasa practice with emphasis on the root muladhara chakra. 

Svadisthana & Manipura 1-3pm

Moving our awareness up the body we’ll consider the subsequent two chakras, their relationship to past karma, dharma and how a wringing out of the body is a central element to moving deeper into ourselves.

Sunday February 25th :

Anahata 10-12pm

With a focus on the heart centre this session considers the Spine and all it’s wonderous planes of movement. Shifting Shakti and creating more fluidity in the whole body.

Vishudda, Anja, &Sahashrara 1-3pm

In this final session we start to access to the higher level of psychoenergetic centres in the throat, third eye and crown chakra.

All sessions include the four practical aspects of Astanga yoga: asana, pranayama, dhyana and mantra.

There are bathroom facilities on sight as well as an eating area.

There is also a small supermarket about 5 mins drive away.

Cancelations:

If payment of either the deposit or the balance is not received by the first day of the Workshop we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.

Payment is non-refundable: In the event that you are unable to attend the Workshop it is up to you to find a replacement for your spot.

No refunds will be made for failure to attend or to complete the Workshop.
