Saturday October 29th :

Ashtanga Vinaysa Led Primary Series 10-12pm
A practice class allowing students to move through the first practice of the Ashtanga series in the way that it was originally intended.

Introduction into second series 1-3pm
The Second Series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is ‘Nadi Shodana’ (nerve cleansing). In order to accommodate all levels of students, modifications will also be shown. Through this introduction, we can begin to uncover the intelligent structure of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga system.

A bit about Ajay:

Ajay started practicing yoga at ten years old with BNS Iyengar at the Shri Pathanjala Yoga Shala at Parkala Mutt in Mysore; where he soon discovered he had a passion for yoga. He has been teaching Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga for the past fourteen years. Under his supervision, students gain the strength, stamina and flexibility to move through the asanas. He has the ability to work with a wide range of individuals, from complete beginners to advanced practitioners. Ajay’s first priority is to guide the student through the physical aspects of yoga asana. From there the foundation is set for the other limbs of Ashtanga Yoga. Ajay teaches his students with sensitivity to their body and his adjustments are gentle and precise. Ajay is particularly concerned with alignment and correct posture and guides his student to this end. His aim is that his students reach their full potential. Alongside his teaching Ajay is currently studying a Advaitha Vedanta in Sanskrit at the University of Mysore.
